Moral decision
One day when I was in college, I had an important meeting to go to. I was failing Math class and was finally able to set up a time to meet. The meeting was with myself, my Math teacher, and my counselor at the Disability Student’s Union to discuss why I was failing and how to rectify the situation. I was at the bus stop, upset about all that had transpired with the lack of note takers, a counselor who was unhelpful, and how much I hated math, when this couple approached me. They ask as kindly as they knew how to help them. It was close to Thanksgiving and the food pantry near the bus stop was giving away free turkeys. They were able to get one, but their neighbor next door was unable to get down to the pantry and was without a turkey for the holiday. They wondered if I might be able to get one for their neighbor. I’m a very skeptical person, but it was the holidays and the only thing this would cost me was time. So I went to the pantry, filled out the paperwork, and was able to get a free turkey. I went back outside and gave them a 15lbs. frozen bird for their neighbor. They were ecstatic, thanking me for my kindness. Unfortunately, I missed the bus that would have taken me to a meeting that might have saved my Math grade. I realized then and there we all have choices to make in life. Sometimes we are faced with situations that the outcomes need to be weighed. For me, it was the better of the two decisions, knowing that someone was able to eat well that holiday season.
How I became Goth
It’s funny how life has brought me to my current situation and I often think back to why I got here in the first place. One thing is certain, you must never judge a book by its cover because the pages underneath are vastly more interesting. Read more on How I became Goth

Influenced by Anime

If you follow me on any of my networking sites, then you’ll know I love anime. I’ve loved anime since I first watched it as a kid. My first anime I can remember was when I moved to Vermont. Since I lived so close to the Canadian border, there was at least one station that was French and it would air this anime about a girl in a flying balloon. I have no clue what it was, what they said, or even the plot. The only thing I do remember is enjoying watching it and how cute it was! Read more on Influenced by Anime
